Hello there!

All is WELL here... And busy! Noah and Keturah have been blessed with summer jobs in the development office here at Joni and Friends; and Noah will continue into the fall part- time. Naomi has just been hired by the YMCA very close to home to teach special yoga workshops: one for teens, one for diabetics, one for autistic children. She is so excited! Jean works one day a week with Joni...and I work 24 hours a day! Ha. Jean is actually busy with continuing to direct proVISION ASIA -- I'm so proud of the great job she is doing . She'll travel to India in October for about three weeks.

Jean and I began the College and Career class at our church and it has really been exciting. On Sundays we have around 12 in class, and then on Tuesday nites, it's "Hang at the Kingerys" where we have fellowship with quite a few! Tonite we are going bowling. We are already seeing some wonderful transformation in the lives of kids who have been alienated, or suffering in dysfunctional homes, or simply losing their way along the path.

Actually, I totally love my work-- am in D.C. next week at the State Department working on the American Disability briefing-- will travel to Honduras and Nicaragua in the early fall. Working with Joni is an amazing experience, and our international work is expanding rapidly. My recent trips to China and Romania gave us a new insight as to the breadth of the disability ministry movement worldwide-- and we are poised to move more quickly!

We do love our home in the beautiful mountains of Simi Valley, only a few minutes from the Reagan Library, and 40 minutes to Malibu beach-- but the heat has been very unusual, as it has been elsewhere. Please pray for Jean especially as her allergies have really been getting her during this time. We are having visitors soon-- my sister, husband and daughter; and then Jean's mother and our niece will be here August 10-14.

We trust all are well at Northway. We certainly miss all of you, and continue to pray for the church. Every morning at Joni and Friends we pray with staff-- so please let us know when there are needs. The Knowles have certainly been on our list...

Love and blessings from the Kingery tribe!
